Divisions of the Truckload Carriers Association

Established logistics and shipping expert Robert Rogulic founded Tri-National, Inc., a trucking company in Missouri, and leads the firm as CEO. To augment his professional activities, Robert Rogulic is a member of the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA).

The Truckload Carriers Association is a trade organization that advocates and promotes the truckload area of the motor transport industry. Membership with TCA is open to entities that provide any of the following services: fee-for-service transportation of property by motor vehicle; motor vehicle transportation of property (on a not-for-hire basis); sale of goods or services to the trucking industry; and training to individuals looking to acquire a commercial driver's license (CDL).

TCA consists of many special interest divisions that provide its members with an opportunity to interact, share ideas, and proffer solutions to problems unique to their area of career focus. The divisions are as follows:

Independent Contractor Division. This division provides for carriers that lease equipment from owner-operator drivers to interact with each other. The division holds its annual meeting in October.

Open Deck Division. This division consists solely of carriers that make use of open haul equipment. Associate and carrier members of TCA are welcome to join this division.

Refrigerated Division. Carriers that operate temperature-controlled trailers gather in this group and meet annually in July.

Safety & Security Division. Managers and supervisors of the safety and security programs of their companies gather in their groups to discuss issues relevant to their areas of responsibility. Such issues include federal and state motor carrier regulations, cargo security, and driver training.
