Robert Rogulic is the president, CEO, and founder of Tri-National, Inc., a freight transportation company headquartered in Missouri that offers delivery to Canada and Mexico. Through the company, Robert Rogulic also gives back by supporting the Kilo Diabetes and Vascular Research Foundation.

Established in 1972 by Drs. Charles Kilo and Joseph R. Williamson, the Kilo Diabetes and Vascular Research Foundation aims to show how diabetes affects the body, especially its impact on vital organs and the vascular system. The disease’s complications include blindness, nerve damage, kidney failure, heart attacks, strokes, and delayed wound healing. The data enables researchers to develop medication to foresee and prevent these complications in non-diabetics.

Besides research, the foundation, with partners, holds conferences to share the latest information in this area, such as the annual Midwest’s largest diabetes event, titled “Current Topics in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Vascular Disease.” The two-day program brings together top minds in the three medical disciplines. They discuss the current management measures, clinical and research results, best practices, and the latest developments in diagnosis, testing, and medical regimens.
